About April
April Centrone is the founder of ACEarts and co-founder of the New York Arabic Orchestra. Her unique style of composition is inspired by 30 years of collective experience and training in Arabic music, world music, hard rock and experimental jazz. April performs multiple instruments including drumset, riqq (Arabic tambourine), daf (frame drum), darbuka (Middle Eastern goblet drum), oud (Arabic lute), buzuq (Arabic long-neck lute), saz (Turkish long-neck lute) and violin (Arabic style/tuning). April strives to deliver authentic, traditional sound to all audiences with a modern and emotive approach.
